Set to Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s iconic score, the musical blends powerful vocals, modern storytelling, and electric rock-influenced music to explore the human drama behind one of history’s most well-known stories. The show highlights Judas’s growing concern over the direction of Jesus’s movement, Mary Magdalene’s compassion and struggle to understand her feelings, and Jesus’s increasing burden as his popularity turns into pressure. Audiences can expect show-stopping numbers like “Heaven on Their Minds,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” “Gethsemane,” and the unforgettable title song. The musical’s rock-concert style, dynamic choreography, and intense storytelling make it a unique and modern take on a classic narrative.
